Company History

Don Kallil, owner of Design Design, Inc., is also the owner of M. Middleton (previously known as MM’s designs), an imprintable stationery company created by Margaret Middleton. He purchased the designs of MM’s designs in November of 2006 and launched the collection as M. Middleton. The name change signals both a new beginning and Kallil’s admiration for Middleton. “This is so I will keep in the front of my mind the woman who made the sacrifices to make it all happen.”

Thirty years ago, Margaret Middleton was a single mother of three kicking off her career as an entrepreneur from her kitchen table. Both her creativity and her line of imprintable stationery flourished, and MM’s Designs made its mark on the stationery world. In the fall of 2006, with an eye toward her retirement, Middleton and Kallil reached an agreement that would allow her more time with her family while giving her designs a new home and continued success. “Getting to know Don has convinced me there couldn’t be a better fit for MM’s,” said Middleton. Kallil says that Middleton’s hard work, dedication, and creative vision will always be the foundation of M. Middleton. “The story of her journey will always resonate within me. This history is something that I just do not want to forget.”

Kallil looks toward expanding the line of formal and casual imprintables with all the quality, attention to detail, and innovative design MM’s designs’ customers expect. “We will continue to focus on building the brand by creating products designed by the same artists who have helped make MM’s designs the recognized company that it is today.”
